Certificates are awarded individually—both the person tying and the person being tied can earn one, and one does not depend on the other.
To receive a certificate, you must complete the full course, with instructors evaluating your progress and understanding of the techniques.
The certificate is a recognition of your dedication and knowledge, listing the techniques you covered.
It does not grant you permission to teach on behalf of Shibari Dojo or guarantee your personal skill level. Let’s be honest—a certificate from an online course isn’t a crystal ball for your future.
